Nollywood actress, Regina Daniels has told her critics that she had been an adult from her childhood. This is the first time the actress is granting an interview after her traditional wedding with rich politician, Ned Nwoko. Daniels in a YouTube video captioned “13 things you don’t know about me”, said she went through a lot as a child. She said people should rather see her as an adult after recently getting married to a 59-year-old billionaire, Nwoko, in Delta. The actress, who still claims to be 18-year-old, has been criticised for marrying her older partner because of his money. House of Reps holds valedictory session tomorrow

The eighth session of the House of Representatives will round off legislative activities on Thursday with a valedictory session. Acting Clerk of the House of Representatives, Patrick Giwa, stated this in a press release issued in Abuja. The statement read,  “This is to inform all Honourable Members that a Special Valedictory Session to end the  Eighth House of Representatives will hold on Thursday, June 6, 2019, in the House Chamber by 11 a.m. prompt. “All Honourable Members and invited guests are to be seated by 10:30 a.m.”

57-year old man who has worked in the mortuary for 32-years says he loves dead bodies because they are humble

A 57-year-old Ugandan man, Basil Enatu who has worked on dead bodies as a mortuary attendant for the past 32 years is one of those few men who don’t see anything wrong with working at the mortuary, and would choose it over any other job. The father of 10 boys and two girls has been reportedly working at the Soroti Regional Referral Hospital in Uganda for not less than 32 years, and has narrated the challenges of his work and his motivation for doing it for over three decades. Despite the challenges he stated, he still loves being a mortuary attendant, for which reason he has done it for years without getting fed up.  He said ,  “I love working on bodies because they do not complain, do not fight, are humble, and are not trouble causers. After all, rich or poor, all are buried the same way by being lowered into the grave".

Man insists wife delivers at home, and watches her bleed to death

The police in Ebonyi state have arrested one Samuel Chidi, who resides at Diamond Point Junction, Chinedu Ogah Avenue Abakaliki,  for allegedly watching his wife, Nkechi, bleed to death in their home after refusing to take her to the hospital to give birth to their 3rd baby. According to resident of the compound where the couple stayed, Chidi had previously watched his wife deliver twice though Caesarean section. With this 3rd pregnancy, he decided that she must not go through the pain of Caeseran section again and so he contracted a patent medicine dealer who came to their home to deliver his wife of their baby. The patent doctor administered improper injections on her, dragged out the baby to the ground while the husband pinned her legs down, collected the blood, the baby's placenta and hid in his room while leaving the agonizing mother to bleed to death.
